We provide this Privacy Policy to inform you about our privacy practices applicable to saferides.org.
Part I. Information Collection
Personally Identifiable Information (data that can be used to identify or locate you)
- When you make a reservation or create an account, we will collect the data that is necessary to complete your ride, process your payment, and to prevent credit card fraud.
- Full Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Billing Address
- Credit Card information
- Pickup Address
- When you fill out our Contact Customer Service form on Saferides.org, we will collect your name, email address and other information you may choose to provide (e.g. your phone number, order details) in order to help us answer your question or facilitate your request.
- When you have an account with Saferides, we also save history of your rides and payments made to make this data available to you and for usage statistics.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information (data that cannot by itself be used to identify or locate you)
- Some information collected to complete your reservation is Non-Personally Identifiable.
- Pickup and Destination City and State
- Date and Time of the Ride
- Ride Duration
- Number of Passengers
- Vehicle Requested
- During the normal usage of Saferides, we will collect in website logs typical general usage information that may include time of your visit, your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, queries submitted, the referring URL, and other similar technical details.
- We use Web cookies on Saferides. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on your computer and can read it later. For example, we save City and State you enter into a search form when searching for a person. We also use cookies for authentication and session tracking and therefore cookies support is required to open and maintain an account on Saferides. Part II. Information Usage
- Saferides has a very restricted and limited use of the collected information. Generally, we use information gathered from you to complete your ride, prevent fraud, provide you with a better user experience, and to improve our services.
- We DO NOT use information collected from registration for any research or advertising purposes.
- We DO NOT create visitor profiles based on browsing history or booked rides.
- We DO NOT track customers over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising.
- We DO NOT sell or share your data.
- Complete reservation details provided when booking the ride is only shared with one transportation company (operator) that provides the ride. Other operators in our network only see summary of the booking such as city, duration, vehicle needed, number of passengers and date/time of the ride. Personally Identifiable Information (name, street address, phone, email) is not shared.
- We use your e-mail address only for the purposes of communicating with you on the subject related your original request or booking.
- We use Saferides logs to generate aggregated usage statistics regarding and for audit purposes only.
- We also use information you provide as required and/or permitted by law, including: to establish, assert, or defend our rights and/or the rights of third parties. We reserve the right to trace our logs upon request from the Police or Court in connection with abuse or criminal investigation.

If problems arise or to block the display of their personal listings, users may contact us using Contact Customer Service page.
We reserve the right to ammend, update or change our privacy policy.
If our policy on information collection or uses changes, you will be notified by a message on the Saferides homepage upon login.
Your continued use of Saferides is your acknowledement and approval of any ammendments or changes.
